About Me
Julia Morgan Fox is a New York City based makeup artist specializing in creative makeup.
With a consistent focus on art, she has drawn and painted throughout her life, focusing on portraiture and the female form. An avid film and television fan, she was also inspired by makeup montage scenes like “Mrs. Doubtfire” demonstrating the progression of character makeup for film.
Her art training culminated in a Bachelors of Fine Arts for Illustration from Savannah College of Art and Design where she honed her skills of communicating abstract concepts into visual media. Her degree program concentrated on digital publication, where she found a comprehensive interest in fashion and beauty magazines.
After graduating, she moved to New York City and pursued a career in makeup by attending Makeup Designory and completing the master makeup program. In this intensive 812 hour course she designed a series of makeups for beauty and fashion photo shoots, and characters with varying levels of prosthetics.
She looks forward to developing her skills by working with photographers and directors and bringing complex concepts to life through a fine art lens.
